Extended Battery & Motor Service Plan

Terms of Service

The "Extended Battery/Motor Service Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Extended Plan") provides an additional 1-Years/2-years of repair service to customers who purchase this service after the original manufacturer's warranty expires. (Click here for more information about the warranty period.)

Each Extended Service Plan is applicable only to one e-bike and cannot be shared among multiple e-bikes.

This plan is only available to individual or corporate users who purchase e-bike products and the Extended Service Plan through our official website.

1. Scope of Service

  • The Battery/Motor Extended Service Plan covers only the motor and battery of your E-bike (depending on the plan selected at purchase).
  • Plans are available in 1-Year or 2-Year options and take effect from the original manufacturer’s warranty start date (i.e., the vehicle purchase date).


2. Eligibility

  • This Extended Service Plan is only valid when purchased together with the E-bike at the same time.To activate the plan, you must add it to your cart and complete checkout simultaneously with your E-bike purchase.
  • Each Extended Motor Service Plan applies to only one E-bike. If you purchase multiple E-bikes, you must purchase a separate extended service plan for each one. Extended service plan cannot be transferred between different E-bikes.

During the entire warranty period, you are entitled to one of the following services:

  • One free replacement service (for manufacturing defects) within 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • One free repair service for the entire extended service plan period.

Note:

  • The "Free Replacement/Free Repair" service is limited to one use only.
  • Replacement requires our verification that the problem is indeed due to a manufacturing defect and not user misuse.
  • Once the replacement/repair is completed, the protection service will be exhausted.
  • After purchasing our motor extension service plan, if you need to replace your motor, we will send you the complete motor kit and wheel set (except for mid-drive motors) for easy and convenient installation.

Lankeleisi provides a standard 1-year limited warranty on the battery and motor.

After purchasing this Extended Service Plan, the total coverage period becomes:

  • 1-Year Plan → Total 2 years
  • 2-Year Plan → Total 3 years

Important: The replacement battery or motor carries the remaining warranty period of the original unit. The warranty does not reset or extend.

Example: If you purchase the 2-Year Extended Plan, your battery and motor will be covered for a total of 3 years. You can request one free replacement within the first 6 months, and free repairs for any quality-related issues during the remaining 2.5 years.


5. Exclusions

This plan does not cover:

  • Human-caused damage (drops, water damage, improper charging, accidents, unauthorized disassembly, etc.)
  • Normal wear and tear (including natural battery capacity degradation)
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Accessories and consumables (tires, brake pads, chargers, etc.)
  • Force majeure: losses caused by natural disasters (floods, lightning strikes, earthquakes), fires, war, etc.


6. How to Request Service

  1. Contact our customer service and provide your order number + clear photos or videos of the issue.
  2. Please wait for our customer service team to review your application (review period: 3 business days).
  3. After inspection and approval, we will arrange a free replacement (if eligible) or repair.
  4. All repairs will be handled by our designated service centers.


7. Customer Obligations:

  1.  Customers must use and maintain the product correctly in accordance with the user manual and official recommendations.
  2. Customers must not disassemble or modify the product themselves; otherwise, the extended warranty service will be voided.
  3. When applying for after-sales service, customers must provide proof of the order for purchasing the electric vehicle and the extended service plan together (such as order number, order screenshot, etc.).


8. Other Important Notes

  • This is a service plan, not insurance. It does not provide cash compensation or third-party liability coverage.
  • This plan is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Lankeleisi reserves the right to interpret and update these terms. However, any changes will not affect the rights of existing customers.
  • If LANKELEISI requests the customer to return defective parts, the company reserves the right to refuse further repairs or support until the defective parts are returned.
