Warranty
I. Warranty Periods and Components
The warranty policy takes effect from the date of purchase.
Every electric bicycle purchased from the official LANKELEISI website or an authorized sales outlet is covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty applies to the original owner and covers the following components:
| Warranty period | Covered components | Other provisions |
|---|---|---|
| 1-year limited warranty | E-bike battery, e-bike motor, hydraulic brakes, controller, front fork, rear shock absorber, bicycle display, pedal-assist sensor, battery charger, stem, handlebar, headset, seatpost, bottom bracket, crankset, rear rack, shifting system, etc. | Exclusions: This warranty does not cover problems caused by accidents, misuse, unauthorized repairs, modifications or self-installation. Note: Natural wear and tear of bicycle parts is not covered. |
| 3-year limited warranty | Frame | Applies to defects in materials or workmanship that meet the conditions of this policy. |
| No warranty | Components subject to normal wear; equipment, accessories and consumable wear parts, including but not limited to natural wear of chains, rims, spokes, brake pads, mineral oil in the braking system, inner tubes, tires, brake rotors and saddles. | Owners are responsible for maintenance and replacement of these components. Accessories are not covered by warranty but are included in our return policy. |
Please note:
1. Replacement bicycles, accessories or spare parts do not receive a new warranty period. As a general rule, their coverage is limited to the remaining warranty period of the original order. For example, the warranty for a replacement part remains valid only until the original order's warranty expires.
2. Warranty coverage is not transferable from the original owner to subsequent owners (the second or any later owner). Subsequent owners may nevertheless contact customer service for assistance.
II. Scope of Warranty Coverage
1. This commercial warranty applies to the original purchaser of products purchased through the official LANKELEISI website and is generally not transferable to subsequent owners.
2. This warranty is limited to a one-time replacement of a defective component as approved and confirmed by LANKELEISI.
3. Where a component failure is verified as resulting from defective materials or workmanship rather than improper use, LANKELEISI will supply the corresponding replacement component in accordance with this policy.
4. For components verified to have been damaged in transit, LANKELEISI will provide an appropriate solution under its shipping damage procedure.
5. Repair costs incurred at a local bicycle shop that have been assessed and approved in advance by the LANKELEISI technical team may be reimbursed as appropriate, up to a maximum of €200.
III. Warranty Claim Procedure
Step 1: Submit a warranty claim.
If you experience a problem with your product, please contact LANKELEISI promptly by email, WhatsApp or a support ticket on our website and provide:
(1) your order number;
(2) a detailed description of the problem;
(3) clear photographs or videos of the defective or malfunctioning area.
Step 2: Initial communication and diagnosis.
1. We will contact you within two business days after receiving your warranty claim.
2. To enable our technical team to accurately identify the cause and offer an appropriate solution, we may ask you to conduct tests in accordance with our instructions and provide videos of the process or photographs of the results (for example, measuring battery voltage with a voltmeter and emailing a photograph of the results).
3. Due to the volume of emails received, please contact us again if you do not receive a response within the stated period so that we can check and follow up on your claim promptly.
Step 3: Further troubleshooting and confirmation.
After receiving your video or reply, our technical team will further assess the issue. If the cause still needs to be established, please perform further troubleshooting in accordance with our instructions and supply the relevant videos.
Step 4: Resolution.
Once the technical team has completed its final diagnosis, we will provide a corresponding solution.
- For component failures covered by warranty, replacement parts will be dispatched free of charge.
- For parts not covered by warranty or whose warranty period has expired, you will be required to pay the applicable replacement cost.

IV. Warranty Costs
For verified failures covered by a valid warranty, LANKELEISI will act in accordance with the applicable service arrangement. Local repair services approved in advance by our technical team may be reimbursed up to €200.
Failures outside the scope of the commercial warranty may incur necessary service charges and replacement component costs.
V. Circumstances Not Covered by Warranty
The following circumstances are generally excluded:
1. Claims for which necessary proof of purchase or reasonable photographs, videos or test records cannot be supplied, preventing verification of the fault.
2. Products not purchased through the official LANKELEISI website or an authorized sales channel, or claims made by persons other than the original purchaser.
3. Damage caused by accidents, improper operation, misuse, negligence, abuse, incorrect assembly, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, water ingress, extreme riding, stunt riding or commercial use.
4. Damage or malfunction resulting from unauthorized repairs or modifications, or the installation of incompatible or non-original parts or accessories.
5. Damage due to force majeure or causes other than defects in materials or manufacture.
6. Natural deterioration of standard consumables and wear parts, and equipment or accessories outside the warranty coverage.
Please note:
- LANKELEISI accepts no liability for damage, malfunction or loss caused by unauthorized repairs or the use of unauthorized components.
- Costs incurred for third-party repairs arranged without LANKELEISI's prior agreement are generally not reimbursable.
- Customers arranging their own return shipment must pack the goods properly and choose an appropriate delivery service; LANKELEISI accepts no liability for damage occurring in transit. Shipping risks and costs are subject to applicable law and the return policy.
- Shipping damage must be reported to LANKELEISI by submitting a support ticket on our support page. Under no circumstances shall LANKELEISI be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damage associated with its products, whether arising in contract, warranty, negligence or product liability, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage or financial loss.
VI. Disclaimers
Riding any type of bicycle involves inherent risks that cannot always be predicted or avoided. Such risks may cause serious accidents, injury or death. Riders are responsible for understanding, learning about and preparing for safe riding.
LANKELEISI strongly recommends that all customers have their bicycles inspected and tested by a certified bicycle mechanic before their first ride. A thorough inspection of every component helps ensure safe riding. LANKELEISI does not guarantee that the brakes, derailleurs, motor, handlebar stem, rims, spokes, shifting mechanisms, front fork or any other components are properly installed and adjusted upon delivery.
Before each ride, inspect the bicycle thoroughly to ensure that all components are correctly fitted and adjusted.
LANKELEISI accepts no liability for damage or consequences arising from improper use, negligence or assembly of the bicycle, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, financial loss, serious accidents or death.
Whether certificates comply with local policies shall be determined in accordance with local laws, regulations and the requirements of the competent authorities. Lankeleisi does not guarantee that such certificates are applicable in all regions and accepts no liability for any related issues or losses arising therefrom.
Bicycle performance disclaimer:
The maximum speed and range quoted for each bicycle are estimates, not guarantees of actual performance. Performance depends on numerous factors, including but not limited to pedal-assist system (PAS) level, rider weight, load, terrain, gradient, pedaling cadence, wind conditions, temperature and tire pressure. Actual range and maximum speed may differ from the published estimates under different conditions.
VII. Claims, Shipping Damage and Payment Disputes
All warranty claims must be submitted to LANKELEISI. When applying under the commercial warranty, please provide your order number or valid proof of purchase. We recommend contacting customer service first, as your issue may be straightforward to resolve. LANKELEISI will process valid warranty claims within one year of the initial purchase. Warranty claims can be submitted via a support ticket on our support page.
A) Shipping damage claims
Inspect the outer packaging and the product immediately upon delivery. If shipping damage is suspected, retain the packaging and relevant documentation, photograph the outer packaging and damaged areas, and report the issue promptly through customer service.
Before you and the driver sign for the shipment, note any damage on the delivery document. Photograph all damage and, where possible, include the date in the images.
Shipping damage claims are time-sensitive. Report any claim through a support ticket on our support page within 14 days of receiving the LANKELEISI product. We do not accept shipping damage claims made more than 14 days after receipt.
Keep all packaging and documents until the inspection process has been completed.
B) Chargebacks (including but not limited to credit-card chargebacks)
If a credit-card chargeback of any amount is initiated against an order for any reason while the customer remains in possession of the product, warranty coverage will be suspended until the chargeback dispute is resolved.
VIII. Return of Faulty Parts and Replacement
1. If a part requires replacement during the warranty period, LANKELEISI may, at its sole discretion, require the customer to return the faulty part to the factory. The faulty part must arrive at the LANKELEISI factory before the replacement is dispatched.
2. Once authorized by LANKELEISI, we will provide a prepaid return label for returning and replacing the faulty part, or arrange courier collection.
3. If a prepaid return label is supplied, dispatch the relevant part within 10 days. Special circumstances may be discussed with customer service in advance.
4. Upon receipt, we will examine returned/faulty parts for shipping damage. Where the extent of damage prevents testing, LANKELEISI reserves the right to seek compensation.
5. Lankeleisi is not liable for parcels lost after being sent without prior consultation or arrangement.
6. Failure to comply with this section may result in refusal of service, invalidation of warranty or permanent cancellation of the order.
IX. Customer Relations
Customer satisfaction is one of LANKELEISI's core objectives. We make every effort to ensure that customers are satisfied with their purchases, although in some circumstances the parties may be unable to agree on a solution.
We understand that contacting a customer service representative or technician through a support ticket generally means that a product issue requires our assistance. We will make every effort to resolve the matter promptly and ask for your cooperation and patience during the process.
LANKELEISI does not tolerate rude, vulgar or threatening language directed at its employees or customer service representatives. A warning will be issued if such conduct occurs; if it continues, LANKELEISI reserves the right to refuse service, cancel warranty coverage, deny a refund or permanently cancel the order. LANKELEISI hopes to avoid such circumstances wherever possible.
